Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is the core of Gore's technology. The mechanical properties of expanded PTFE ePTFE are comparable to those of other PTFE materials. The creep resistance data is based on EN13555 and 15mm x 3mm strip gaskets are used to form 150mm cutting formed gasket rings. PQR values are obtained at 150 degrees C and 30 MPa initial gasket stress.
