Asbestos free compression gasket material

Component:

DURLONR 8400 is made of high temperature resistant phenol fiber and inorganic materials and high-quality nitrile rubber (NBR) adhesive. The gasket material has a temperature range higher than aramid based material, and its treatment and cutting performance is much better than that of carbon fiber and glass fiber panels.

Viscosity resistance:

All DURLON compression pad materials have done a great deal of work in developing adhesive release agents with superior adhesion resistance. All DURLON compression pad materials were successfully tested through the military standard MIL-G-24696B 300oF/48 hrs naval facility anti adhesion test.

Range of pH values:

DURLONR 8400 is applicable at room temperature. The pH range from 2 to 13. It is the most widely used material in the pH range of compressed gasket materials. This feature makes DURLONR 8400 particularly suitable for use in pulp and paper mills as well as chemical plants.

Note: the performance of the ASTM standard is measured according to the plate thickness 1/16 inches, but the ASTM F38 is measured according to the plate thickness 1/32 inches. These properties can only be used as a general reference and cannot be used as the basis for acceptance or rejection.
